Art At The Point 2023
After a three-year hiatus, the Point of Rocks Ruritan Club was proud to announce the return of Art at the Point. From 2010-2019, The Ruritan Club put forth a community festival for the purpose of bringing together neighbors, friends, and visitors in celebration of the arts and cultural heritage of southern Frederick County. In 2023, I volunteered to design the 11th Annual poster, featuring some of my original photography mixed with a few illustrated “Easter eggs” of what makes Point of Rocks, Maryland so special (and I place that I am proud to call my home). Our neighbor bear is featured in the lower left-hand corner.
The Steeples and Peoples podcast made the picturesque drive out to Point of Rocks, Maryland and spoke with Pamela Lesch and Shannon Sutter about the return of this incredible community event. They shared some history about the event and how it has some new wrinkles that will surely be a hit.
